Hey all, this is Henry. I'm in Romania right now. Long story. Ask Rob for more details. It's cool. And I get lots of Dracula stuff. Dracula is a rip off, but still cool ;-). Anyway, I recently sent Robert a few things - basically in random spare moments when an idea popped into my head, I wrote it down, and then when I had a bit more time I would outline the idea, and then eventually wrote out a first chapter so to speak for a couple different storylines. I sent the ones that I had to this point to him, and he, eventually might get them up. If he has time. And if I'm nice to him. Maybe. Anyway, following is a list of these. The ones I sent are noted as such. I am just wanting to know which ones would have the greatest interest in being worked on first. So:
Second Life - About a cybernetically revived assassin, with a hatred for the government. See published at maninred.250free.com/sl/sl.html (note, will be undergoing slight reworking).
Silver Hawks - Main group is kind of an X-Men type thing (mutants/powers/talents, whatever) in the slightly distant future. Mercenary groups run the world, and anything that you can fight your way out of is fair game. (Rob has)
Ripples - Undercover CIA gets a call and told that he's back in DC claiming to be returned from the future after WWIII.
Death Dreams - When his best friend commits suicide, Jack starts having dreams of his friend suffering in the afterlife. Then a gypsy lady stops him and tells him he can help him out. What follows is a mix of existencial/fantasy in the world of the dead.
Vigil - Some people just don't fit into normal life. They notice too much, react too fast, see things others would never dream of. And in a world where the only difference between most cops and crooks is the badge, someone needs to make a stand. (Rob has)
Idumea (has 2 sequals planned out) - Welcome to Idumea, prison planet for exiles from earth. Meet it's most recent resident, who has a past could be trouble for him, even out on the world of criminals.
Diplomat - Kurt's government believes him to be brainwashed, and a ticking time bomb waiting to explode, brainwashed by the enemy. But he knows he's not. He's just a diplomat with a mission that went wrong. Sometimes, negotiations go too far.
Last Resort - In the case of interstellar war, five have been chosen to go on a top secret mission. But little do they know that they were picked out for their incompetence. Violence is the last resort of the incompetent.
Game of Life - Have you ever felt like this life is just a game, decided by the throw of the dice of the Gods? It is here.
The Possessed - A very much revamped/redone and planned out version of World of Larcne. See maninred.250free.com/larcne/Larcnetitle.html.
Oracle - A disillusioned priest running for his life runs into a treasure hunter who offers to help him in return for sharing the secrets of the church and helping him get ahold of some of the church's trove.
Lastly, I also sent him a shorter story titled Visionary. Kinda depressing, but I like it. It's a stand alone - nothing else goes in with it, nor ever will. So, enjoy. Peace.
BTW - Will I ever be in Trinity?
