Almost every chapter in requiem has a different style, point of view and feel - from detective/mystery to romance and several action. Told in the mindset of all sorts of people - college students, crime bosses, religious fanatics, assassins. So, chances are that you'll like one of them. Below, I've listed the currently written chapters in order of preference with a brief explanation of why I like some more than others.
Third Eye Blind - I've always been a sucker for mysteries and detective stories, and also like both Joaquin and Walter as characters. It was just a fun read, and I enjoyed trying to figure out as much of the mystery as I could (given that I kinda knew who the killer was, I was more trying to figure out the why and such).
One Step Closer - Really like Jeff, developing/writing him was fun.
Requiem - The first, action packed. Set the bar for rest. Travis is just cool. And Galen is a fun villain who isn't... if you know what I mean.
Losing My Religion - Joel was an interesting make, and having him fighting his own visions was a fun thing to add personal conflict into it.
Hometown - Good background for this whole dimension. Full of action. Like how you can see how Travis between this and Requiem.
Getting Away with Murder
Cast No Shadow
In the End
Dark Side of the Moon
A New Found Glory
Mr. Brightside - Not really sure why, but I never liked Ethan too much. Maybe the whole Superman thing where he's almost invincible.
Put Your Lights On
Always a Woman - The two Alexis ones don't feel quite right to me. They are both a bit too... short, with no real resolution. Maybe I should have made them one. Oh well.
Bright Midnight - It's a bit too talking. Needed to help understand dimensions, but even so.
3 Libras - I'm just not a romantic. And I was hoping Janet would die. I'm not her biggest fan. Oh well.
